really nice ride through almost empty north shrosphire flat farmland - got increasingly dirty and farmyardy plus various animals wandering on the roads...and a great base training session - didn't stop and didn't eat anything - trying to force the energy systems to rely on fat reserves. means you kind of slow down towards the end!
