Gran Fondo season

With the Giro over Italians turn their attention to their own efforts and a series of Gran Fondos through June and July.

Final climb on GF Sportful

This weekend sees the Gran Fondo Eddy Merckx near Verona (and Lake Garda) and next weekend will be the Gran Fondo Sportful out of Feltre, north of Venice.

After that is the Sella Ronda bike day in the Dolomites - a unique closed road opportunity to ride in the high passes around Corvara (basically the Maratona routes).  And then ofcourse the big one - the Maratona d'les Dolomites is in early July, followed by La Pina - the Pinarello sponsored Gran Fondo starting in Treviso.
