Grotty morning so I waited till after lunch and hey-presto the weather changed and I was greeted by late afternoon sun. I'm sure one of the secrets of winter riding is about not being daft - yes you can go out in the pouring rain but probably it will dent your enthusiasm for the next few weeks. Better to take it easy and wait for something at least half-way decent!
